This site is part of the UNESCO cultural heritage designated Pearling Path. The building functions as the main entrance to these cultural heritage sites and serves as a foyer leading into the Medina. Designed as an urban space for the residents of Muharraq, its scale is comparable to that of a city park.
Concrete blocks border the site, creating a new central gathering place within the dense urban fabric of the city.

A forest of columns and wind towers supports a horizontal roof located 10 meters above ground level, creating a vast sheltered space. This roof evokes an ancient architectural posture, offering essential shade to the people of Muharraq under the region’s intense heat.
The varying scales of this roof structure generate a unique atmosphere, blending tradition with contemporary spatial experience.

Within the shadows, a mysterious house conceals the UNESCO World Heritage Museum. The entire building generates a distinctive environment that acts as a gateway to the Pearl Road and other distant cities.
