Standing 11 meters tall, this treehouse matches the height of the surrounding mature redwood trees. The structure consists of seven vertically stacked rooms, each ranging from 6 to 9 square meters. These include an entrance hall, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a separate landscape room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are divided by the entrance hall, allowing two families to stay comfortably without disruption. The living room and landscape room are located on the rooftop, serving as communal spaces. All seven guest rooms are connected by a central spiral staircase.

The design intentionally guides visitors through a glass-enclosed gallery located on the middle floor, leading to the entrance hall. Guests can ascend or descend the central spiral staircase by 1.6 meters to access each room. This layout allows exploration of different parts of the house while offering panoramic views of the forest, designed through BIM technology. The experience immerses visitors in the surrounding forest scenery from various heights.

The rooms inside this compact treehouse are intentionally small. However, each bedroom features a glass window that spans the entire wall facing the picturesque landscape. This design creates a profound connection between the intimate interior space and the vast forest outside, drawing guests’ attention and emotions outward.

The treehouse’s structure is constructed from steel components. The central spiral staircase was the first element built, followed by cantilevered connections that support each room. To avoid the risk of introducing pests and plant diseases from non-local wood, the facade is uniformly clad with locally sourced red cedar.
