I have been involved in design work for many years and was fortunate enough to be selected by my supervisors to participate in the BIM Architecture Network as a BIM Technical Manager. This course has greatly benefited me, and I deeply appreciate the opportunity. I was also impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the teachers and academic staff at the training institution, as well as their rigorous teaching approach. With this in mind, I have written about my BIM training experience to assist others who are currently choosing a training institution.
Experience 1: Comprehensive and Systematic Learning Starting from the Basics
I am very satisfied with the course structure and lecture content provided by the BIM Architecture Network. Although I have years of experience in design and am proficient with CAD software, I was a beginner when it came to BIM software. The training was clearly designed with beginners in mind. It started with fundamental BIM theory to build a solid foundation for every student, followed by practical case studies that deepened our understanding. The instructors, who have extensive experience in BIM-related work, shared their knowledge generously. Their explanations were clear and engaging, which allowed all students to quickly immerse themselves in the world of BIM.
Experience 2: Rigorous Teaching and Attention to Detail
The academic and teaching staff at BIM Architecture Network pay close attention to each student’s learning progress. In class, teachers not only prepare their materials thoroughly but also incorporate their years of professional experience into the lessons. This approach helps students develop the ability to apply knowledge practically, articulate concepts clearly, and use BIM tools effectively. The academic staff divides students into groups based on skill level, with stronger students mentoring weaker ones, and establishes communication channels for ongoing support. They actively solicit student feedback to improve the training experience and encourage diligent completion of assignments. After class, any difficulties encountered by students are collected and presented to the instructors, allowing for timely clarification and adjustment of upcoming lessons.
Experience 3: An Engaging and Supportive Atmosphere
Unlike many typical training institutions, BIM Architecture Network fosters a vibrant and interactive learning environment. The academic staff actively encourages student participation through group work, discussions, and various activities during class. Additionally, extracurricular events such as hiking and mountain climbing are organized to build camaraderie and create a unique and motivating training atmosphere for everyone involved.
Although the training period was relatively short, I wanted to share my reflections on the BIM course. I hope this insight helps you make a more informed decision when selecting a training institution.
