BIM Level Certificate is a nationwide BIM skills examination organized by the Chinese Society of Graphic Design. Upon passing the exam at the respective level, candidates receive a certificate issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China.
BIM Architecture Network is responsible for organizing pre-exam training and administering the examination. Its goal is to support more individuals dedicated to BIM work in gaining national recognition.

BIM skills are categorized into three levels:
- Level 1: BIM Modeler
- Level 2: Senior BIM Modeler
- Level 3: BIM Application Designer
Exams are held twice a year, typically in June and December.
This certificate is currently the most authoritative credential in the BIM field. Many domestic project bidding documents explicitly require the National BIM Skill Level Certificate. The number and level of certificates are commonly used as standards to assess the BIM capabilities of enterprises.
