What benefits does BIM bring to the construction phase? While I won’t be able to cover the entire topic today, I’d like to start a discussion by sharing some initial thoughts.
In recent years, both governments and property owners have placed great emphasis on green construction, setting new standards for construction companies. At the same time, in an increasingly competitive market, construction firms face intense cost pressures. Finding ways to reduce costs while improving performance through effective management has become a key focus for the industry. Achieving this level of refined management requires technological innovation.
BIM technology offers construction enterprises a powerful tool to transform the status quo. It enables comprehensive adjustments, detailed simulations, and other preparatory steps before work begins on-site. This plays a vital role in enabling precise construction, accurate scheduling, and enhanced efficiency.
Furthermore, BIM provides strong data support for green design and environmentally friendly construction practices. It ensures design and installation accuracy, increases the likelihood of successful installations, reduces rework, minimizes losses, and ultimately saves project costs.
The advantages BIM brings during the construction phase extend well beyond these points. I encourage everyone to contribute their insights and add to this discussion.
