The Hidden Villa Design is set on a historic estate along the Dutch coast, which has been thoughtfully transformed into a park-like residential area. This renovation places a strong emphasis on preserving the estate’s cultural and historical elements. Towering ancient trees, distinctive architectural styles, and breathtaking landscapes contribute to the estate’s serene and inviting atmosphere.

The villa itself is nestled in a private location, surrounded entirely by lush gardens. This setting not only guarantees privacy but also minimizes environmental impact. Upon entering the grounds, visitors are greeted by a vibrant and diverse garden design, offering multiple scenic viewpoints around the villa.

The villa’s interior spaces are seamlessly connected with the outdoors. Just as the garden offers rich and varied scenery, the villa features diverse living areas that emphasize openness and transparency. The double-layered high terraces, abundant with greenery, enhance this sense of space and connect directly to the first-floor living area. This design creates a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor living.
The expansive sunshade further strengthens this connection, allowing residents to freely move around the villa. Its depth is carefully calculated to align with the sun’s path, providing effective protection against overheating despite the extensive use of glass on the exterior walls.

The villa’s exquisite and luxurious appearance results from a harmonious blend of materials such as wood, stone, concrete, and glass. The entrance, terraces, and upper exterior walls are clad in oil-treated white wax wood, while the lower south and east facades, along with the auxiliary buildings, feature light-colored Colombo bricks.
The floors and ceilings flow seamlessly from inside to outside, with white concrete flooring encircling the house and defining the sunshade’s outer edge. The ceilings are finished with plaster, and simple aluminum frames with large glass windows further connect the interior to the surrounding garden.

Inside, custom-made furniture and built-in cabinets complement the villa’s architectural style. Rich materials such as dark oiled oak panels, continuous white concrete flooring, and natural stone kitchen surfaces demonstrate exquisite craftsmanship and texture. Bathrooms and toilets are adorned with a variety of tiles, while lighting is thoughtfully designed for each space’s ambiance, controlled via a KNX system that offers multiple adaptable settings.

The garden features several areas directly connected to the villa, including a swimming pool and a fire pit. The outdoor kitchen and terrace beneath the sunshade offer a comfortable and inviting space for relaxation. Surrounded by greenery, the villa’s terraces and gardens blend nature and architecture, creating a harmonious interplay between the landscape, building, and interior design.
