How to Restore the Revit Browser Bar and Open the Project Browser

Are you struggling to retrieve the Revit browser bar or wondering how to open the Project Browser? You’re not alone—this issue has puzzled many users. In this guide, I will walk you through the steps to restore the browser bar and reopen the Project Browser.

First, launch Revit 2018. Then, navigate to the top menu bar and click on View. From the dropdown, select User Interface.

Next, in the dropdown menu, locate the Project Browser option and check its box to enable it. This action will bring back the Project Browser panel.

You can also deselect any items you no longer wish to display by unchecking the corresponding boxes.

For the third step, follow the same process to open the Properties window.

Step four involves removing any unwanted items from the dropdown menu to customize the display according to your preferences.

Finally, you will see the updated browser bar displayed as adjusted.
