1) 3D Technology Visualization. Construction sites often involve workers with varying levels of literacy, making it essential to use communication methods that are easy to understand during technical briefings. By implementing BIM technology, information is conveyed more intuitively, overcoming the limitations of traditional paper-based methods. This approach highlights the critical and challenging aspects of construction at a glance, enabling workers to quickly familiarize themselves with the overall project status and understand the workload within a shorter timeframe. This visualization is typically delivered in two formats: firstly, through video presentations that compare actual and virtual scenarios, which can be played back for clarity; secondly, by capturing key moments as static images for printing and on-site guidance to operators.

2) Construction Progress Simulation. A network planning diagram is used to visually present the actual progress plan, clearly outlining logical relationships to help staff quickly grasp their individual work schedules. Leveraging BIM technology, 2D drawings are transformed into detailed 3D information models enriched with progress data. This accumulated data allows team members to monitor progress points promptly and understand their workload. Simultaneously, it provides project managers with a comprehensive overview to control the overall schedule, identify deviations between planned and actual progress, analyze root causes, and develop effective work plans accordingly.
3) Construction Plan Simulation. Using BIM technology, the entire construction process can be simulated and rehearsed to derive a comprehensive plan. VR technology further enhances this by presenting realistic scenarios for management and technical teams to review and validate the plan. The process emphasizes repeated simulation and analysis of critical steps, key components, and focal points, testing various potential scenarios, predicting possible risks, assessing their impact and extent, and ultimately refining the construction plan based on simulation outcomes. This approach significantly improves the plan’s feasibility, scientific accuracy, and overall rationality.
