The owner is the central figure in construction project management. Typically, the owner initiates the project, oversees overall organization, integrates construction resources, and ultimately utilizes the completed project. Among all participants, only the owner is involved throughout the entire lifecycle of the construction project. This extensive responsibility demands a higher level of project management expertise. Traditional management models often struggle to provide the owner with comprehensive control over both decision-making and implementation stages.
BIM applications address these challenges by improving investment control and construction efficiency. They also accumulate accurate completion models and operational data, which support maintenance and facility management services.
