The design studio SixN.Five has crafted a series of architectural scenes that embody the minimalist elegance of Japanese gardens. In Japan, gardens serve as sacred spaces for meditation and worship. Inspired by this, art directors Ezequiel Pini and Joan Garcia Pons, along with Simon Kaempfer, developed a collection of fictional works using computer-generated imagery (CGI) to encourage reflection and contemplation.
The design team shared their creative process: “We drew inspiration from Japanese gardens and architecture, captivated by their pure beauty. We integrated elements we had gathered over time, aiming to present our own interpretation.”

During the creation of the “Japanese Garden” series, SixN.Five skillfully combined traditional Japanese architectural elements with stylized plant compositions. This intentional balance perfectly reflects the human desire for simplicity, which underpins the development of garden aesthetics.
To convey the minimalist, surreal, and tranquil essence of Japanese design, the team incorporated carefully pruned trees, iconic birch symbols, and muted mountain landscapes throughout each image. Consistency in visual language was deliberately maintained, resulting in surreal yet inviting scenes enveloped by lush greenery and nature.
