The Dashte Noor Fitness Center, designed by Narges Nassiri Toosi (BIM Learning), is a public facility located in the Dashte Noor residential area in northern Iran. It offers fitness amenities for local residents. The building comprises two independent halls interconnected with other spaces, creating a unified architectural ensemble.

The surrounding landscape features forests, lush hills, and expansive blue skies. The building’s design reflects this natural setting by gradually rising from the ground and reaching its highest point at the end. Symbolizing freedom and strength, it serves as a bridge connecting earth and sky.

The innovative design features long horizontal windows that invite views of the blue sky, evoking a sense of freedom. The use of wood materials enhances the building’s connection to nature.

Covering approximately 745 square meters, the building includes a first floor of about 235 square meters with a lobby, gym, bathrooms, changing rooms, and a bar. The second floor spans roughly 170 square meters and houses another hall, changing rooms, a bar, and a relaxation area. The interior design aims to create a sports environment that feels as open and refreshing as being outdoors.

The interior concept emphasizes creating a space that allows occupants to experience the building’s grandeur even while moving through it.

The structure is dominated by two red walls on the east and west sides, connected by a large curved wharf. A striking 9-meter cantilever extends dramatically from one end of the building. Below this cantilever, two arching walls at the entrance appear to support the upper structure, giving the impression that the building rises from the earth to embrace the sky with open arms. The roof features three differently sloped levels, blending softness with strength in the skyline.

The building’s entrance fully reflects its landscape and façade, using the same materials inside and out, including the lobby floor. At one corner, four tall wooden pillars stand in the plaza, providing a resting and gathering space for pedestrians while emphasizing the building’s impressive scale.

Visiting this gym is an uplifting experience, helping visitors shed negative energy and feel completely relaxed and mentally free.
