This project emphasizes the transparency and authenticity of the materials used in its physical structure, presenting them naturally without any artificial enhancements. Each space is designed according to the unique characteristics of its materials, aiming to reduce sunlight exposure and heat buildup, open up views to the landscape, enable natural ventilation, and integrate the garden as a central natural element guiding the design.

The foundation is formed by compressed earth walls, with the house’s walls directly reflecting the local materials of its site. The earth used for excavation is sourced from different layers of the surrounding land, reinforcing the connection between the building and its environment.

The floor layout is divided into three zones: social, private, and functional. The first floor consolidates all social areas, featuring a polished concrete floor that has been laser-leveled and polished to create a seamless surface that resembles a single stone slab. Transitioning indoors, the second floor contains bedrooms and family rooms, where a thin wooden floor adds warmth and privacy. In wet areas, ceramic panels are cleverly applied to provide both practicality and a harmonious material contrast, enhancing the spatial experience.

All windows face the garden, emphasizing transparency and connection with nature. The local climate and site orientation require manual adjustments, allowing for a more spacious and dynamic environment through multiple windows and a direct connection to the garden and ground cover.

Artificial lighting plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere of the various spaces. The use of energy-efficient LED lights complements abundant natural light, which is direct, controllable, and functional throughout the home. A custom modular grille, fabricated on site, offers views of the sunset while regulating sun angles on the west facade. This grille also creates a captivating light pattern, enhancing the dynamic spatial experience inside the house.
