Pu’er Ideal Country is a large residential community located in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, spanning four square kilometers. The core development concept of this project centers on community building. The Art and Culture Center is situated at the heart of the community, positioned at the northern edge of Central Park and surrounded by urban roads on the north, east, and west sides.

The design includes five distinct functional areas: a community library, a community health center, a multifunctional hall for performances and exhibitions, a community canteen with a tea room, and a sales office. These are represented as five rectangular volumes of varying sizes, thoughtfully arranged across the site.

The library features a semi-transparent glass volume elevated above the ground, with a large cantilever that overlooks the park. From the reading room, visitors enjoy a stunning view of Central Park. The individual volumes are connected by walls and corridors, creating multiple courtyards, each with unique spatial characteristics.

The main entrance is an expansive, open grey space without doors, allowing a clear view from the street into the diverse interior courtyard spaces created for BIM training.
