Introduction to the Expo
In response to the Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Developing Fabricated Buildings (GBF [2016] No. 71), the Opinions of the Provincial People’s Government on Accelerating the Modernization of the Construction Industry (EZF [2016] No. 7), the Notice of the Municipal People’s Government on Further Accelerating the Development of Fabricated Buildings, and other relevant policies, our company, together with Wuhan Hongwei Guobo Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd., has conducted extensive market research and planning.
We are organizing the 2019 Wuhan International Building Science and Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) to be held at the Wuhan International Expo Center in November 2019. This event aims to actively support the national “Belt and Road” initiative and align with the directives of provincial and municipal governments to promote the development of prefabricated buildings.
The Expo will cover an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, showcasing cutting-edge achievements in domestic and international construction technology, industrial industrialization, innovative materials, BIM design solutions, and advanced construction methods. The accompanying forum is expected to attract numerous experts and scholars from the construction industry across China, fostering a national platform for Chinese architectural excellence and enhancing Wuhan’s international influence.
Leveraging this opportunity, the Expo will serve as a comprehensive platform for communication, cooperation, technical discussions, and product displays within the Chinese construction sector. It will explore policies, technologies, trends, and transformations across the entire industry chain, playing a central role that resonates nationwide.
Building Technology
Modern residential architecture has entered a new era where sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings have become the preferred choice for urban and rural housing. In recent years, China has vigorously promoted the development of steel structures and prefabricated buildings, as emphasized in the Central Urban Work Conference and the 13th Five-Year Plan.
Currently, many local governments provide strong policy support for prefabricated housing projects. Additionally, various residential industrialization bases have been approved and established nationwide, accelerating the industry’s growth and modernization.
