Friendship International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Friendship International) has successfully integrated its product models into the Housing and Urban-Rural Development product BIM large database (hereinafter called the “BIM database”).
Once the enterprise database is activated, users can log in to the system to manage relevant tasks. The company’s business scope includes engineering consulting, cost estimation, supervision, project construction, bidding, surveying, and government procurement. Additionally, it covers comprehensive consulting in financial auditing, tax consulting, credit rating, asset evaluation, and real estate appraisal.
The BIM database offers companies a modern, convenient, and efficient platform for viewing and downloading product models. It supports retrieval by product name keywords, manufacturer, specifications, parameter values, guide prices, and more. Models can be previewed in 3D, and upon selection, users receive detailed physical data and related information automatically.
The BIM database is divided into two main sections: the “Enterprise Library” and the “Brand Library”, which features products from building materials suppliers.
This database was developed by the Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in collaboration with Beijing Guojian Rongke Hechuang Technology Co., Ltd. It aims to ensure enterprise data security by establishing a strategic information framework in the era of big data, preserving foundational data, and preventing loss of enterprise data assets.
Friendship International ultimately decided to initiate the construction of the “Enterprise Library” within the BIM database. This effort establishes standardized enterprise-level BIM applications that can be broadly utilized across various project stages, including preliminary design, detailed design, selection, bidding, cost estimation, construction, acceptance, and operation and maintenance.
